Dr. Maria Neiers (she/her) is a clinical psychologist specializing in perinatal and early childhood mental health. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC. She has provided individual, dyadic, and group therapy to caregivers, children, and families across hospital, community mental health, private practice, and school settings. Her work is grounded in attachment-based and trauma-informed approaches, with a focus on individuals and families through pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition into parenthood. She has particular interests in medically complex parenting, supporting NICU and CICU families, and navigating grief and loss.
