Dr. Sauer is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in perinatal mental health and women’s health psychology. She attended Lehigh University for her undergraduate studies and received her Doctorate in Clinical and School Psychology from Kean University. Dr. Sauer completed her predoctoral internship training at the VA New York Harbor Health Care System (Brooklyn Campus) and her postdoctoral fellowship training at the VA New York Harbor Health Care System (Manhattan Campus), with an Emphasis in Clinical Health Psychology and Interprofessional Training in Primary Care. She is a staff psychologist at The Motherhood Center in both the Partial Hospitalization Program and the Outpatient Department. Dr. Sauer is committed to supporting women, birthing individuals, partners, and families through all stages of the perinatal journey, providing evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to each person’s unique experience.
